Ravi Singh, CEO
In July 2004, Ravi joined MPS Technologies as Chief Operating Officer and has overseen the companies rapid growth with operations now in Boston, New York, New Delhi (Gurgaon), Munich, and London.
Ravi has built his career in providing technology services to the publishing, financial services and telecommunications industries. Ravi began his career at the publishers Harcourt before joining PLSI in 1993, a Californian based technology services company where he played a key role in turning it into one of the fastest growing private companies in North America.
From 2000 to 2003, Ravi was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Atypon Systems, Inc in Santa Clara, California. Under his stewardship, Atypon grew from a small software company to a full service technology services company where he oversaw a number of the largest deals ever made in the electronic publishing market at the time. Ravi’s introduction of the BSP business model and management of 17 technology partners helped Atypon grow rapidly.
Ravi is involved in a number of industry associations such as The Software Forum, Silicon Valley Association of Software Entrepreneurs, TiE and the Round Zero Club.
Ravi received his Bachelors degree with Honours at Hindu College, University of Delhi and his MBA at The USC in Columbia.

David Sommer, Commercial Director
David Sommer is Commercial Director at MPS Technologies, and was one of the founders of the organisation which was created in early 2004. David is responsible for all commercial aspects of MPS including the development of new products, taking them through the launch phase to commercial realisation and continual enhancing of them throughout the product life cycle.
Previously, David spent seven years with Blackwell Publishing where he helped develop a consortia sales model, built a library sales team and managed the launch of the Blackwell Synergy - the online platform serving over 700 journals.
David has been actively involved in developing standards. He has been heavily involved with project COUNTER since its inception, chairing the sub-committee which developed the original COUNTER reports, and continues to play an active roll on the COUNTER Executive Committee. David has also been involved in the NISO SUSHI initiative to develop standards for usage data transfer, and most recently with ACAP - the Automated Content Access Protocol which is an emerging standard to describe rights and permissions that relate to content and services for use by search engines and web crawlers.
David holds a MA in Physics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from University College Dublin.
