Salient Features

  • SUSHI (Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative) has been integrated into MPSInsight to facilitate automated retrieval of COUNTER usage statistics reports into the publisher’s ERM systems. SUSHI is also a mandatory requirement for COUNTER Release 3 compliance.

  • All COUNTER compliant reports generated by MPSInsight are regularly provided to publishers’ clients via an easy-to-use, customized interface. As mandated by COUNTER 3 Release, all COUNTER reports are presented in XML, besides the prescribed CSV reporting format.

  • Federated searches and automated searches are isolated from bonafide searches to reduce search session counts for the purpose of Database Report 1 and Database Report 3. Activity generated by internet robots and crawlers and LOCKSS and other caches are excluded from the COUNTER reports.

  • We understand that beyond COUNTER compliant reporting and usage statistics generation, there is always a vital need for additional reports which publishers can use to explore prospective areas of growth. These additional reports include the Sales Analysis reports and Data Analysis Tool that guide you to identify the up-selling opportunities.

MPSInsight customized to your business size

We offer different packages of MPSInsight that can be customized to match your business requirements.

MPSInsight is designed for medium and large sized publishers, providing COUNTER, publisher and custom reports. It is integrated with SUSHI and follows an SLA based service delivery model. It also has additional features like supporting customizable personal alerts.

MPSInsight Lite version addresses the needs of small sized publishers. It  provides only COUNTER reports that can be accessed through web-based, easy-to-use interface.

MPSInsight Plus is an add-on module that provides sales analysis reports for analyzing the areas of growing and declining usage.

Another offering of MPSInsight Plus is the Data Analysis tool. It is meant for advanced users as it gives them the flexibility to slice and dice the data using certain pre-defined dimensions.

Both these reports of sales analysis and data analysis can be generated in different formats such as, HTML, CSV and XLS.
